As part of Jackson Health System’s $1.8 billion capital plan to reinvest in all of its facilities and build new ones, we’re hard at work at Jackson South updating our hospital and bringing in the latest medical technology. We’ve opened a new, state-of-the-art intensive care unit capable of supporting the latest technology for our most critically ill and injured patients. To serve our community’s mental health needs, we have renovated our behavioral health unit. Jackson South is also home to a beautiful new labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit – one of the few of its kind in South Florida – to serve all the needs of expectant mothers as they bring their new babies into the world. The future of Jackson South has never been brighter.
While we are excited about all of the work being done to enhance our facilities, our greatest pride point is the exceptional care delivered by our team of caregivers who share the qualities we value most: compassion, accountability, respect, and expertise. From one corner of our hospital to the other, we work hard to make sure we leave positive, lasting impressions on our visitors and patients by cultivating a caring and comforting environment.
